Looking for a senior-level IBM Mainframe and z/OS Systems Programmer to work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska or in Berkley Heights, NJ with experience with z/OS internals (JES2, SMS, HSM); z/OS communications TCP/IP and VTAM; JCL, IBM Utilities (IEBGENER, etc.) and REXX (Python a plus) scripting; VSAM, DB2, and sequential data formats; and programming languages such as Cobol, IBM Assembler, experience with Java is a plus.
Experience in z/OS Operations activities, e.g. IPLs, Stand Alone Dump, and console operations is a plus.
Candidate needs to have experience with mentoring/sharing technical knowledge, provide technical guidance and feedback to junior Systems Programmers.
