Job Title: Remote School Psychologist
Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Nevada)
Job Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract
We areseeking a qualified and licensed Remote School Psychologist to provide virtual psychological services and consultation to K12 students inNevada. This role supports student learning and well-being by delivering evaluations, interventions, and mental health services in a remote environment, in compliance with the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) regulations and federal laws such as IDEA and Section 504.
Conduct comprehensive remote psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and assist in the development of individualized goals, accommodations, and interventions.
Provide virtual counseling , social-emotional support, and behavioral interventions to individual students or small groups.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions .
Support crisis prevention and response efforts , including suicide risk assessments, threat assessments, and remote crisis management.
Interpret data from assessments and share results with IEP teams in a clear and actionable way.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state, federal, and district guidelines.
Assist with the development and implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies.
Serve as a key mental health resource to educators and families in a virtual setting.
Masters or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved or regionally accredited program.
Valid Nevada School Psychologist license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
Experience providing services in virtual/remote educational settings is preferred.
Deep knowledge of special education law (IDEA, Section 504), child development, and assessment practices.
Proficient with digital assessment tools and virtual service platforms (e.g., Q-interactive, Zoom, Google Meet).
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills in a remote work environment.
Must maintain a private and secure home office for conducting virtual sessions and maintaining student confidentiality (FERPA compliant).
Fully remote position.
Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours and student needs.
Must be able to adapt to various district policies and virtual learning management systems.
Compensation for this position ranges from $39.71 to $59.71. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
