Compensation: $20.75 per hour
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About Us: Din Tai Fung is a Chinese restaurant specializing in Xiao Long Bao, or steamed soup dumplings, each made by hand with our "Golden Ratio" of 18 folds. Originally founded in Taiwan as a cooking oil retail business in 1958, Din Tai Fung was reborn as a dumpling and noodle restaurant in 1972. Since its founding, Din Tai Fung has become world-renowned for its quality, standardization, and service. About the Role: Cleaners are responsible for cleaning, restocking and organizing all areas of the restaurant, including but not limited to the employee restrooms, guest restrooms, kitchen areas, dining areas and storage areas. Janitors also regularly clean towels using the washing machine.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks: - Reads, understands, and follows all guidelines with regards to the chemicals used in the restaurant
- Wears personal protective equipment to ensure safety and avoiding contact with chemicals
- Uses the proper chemical that is designated to each task in the restaurant
- Cleans, restocks, and organizes all areas of the restaurant
- Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attends monthly staff meetings and Janitor meetings
Supporting Functions: - Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
- Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
- Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP's").
