Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Silver Spring, MD. This contract position starts August 16 and runs through the school year, serving a student population with a high prevalence of Autism and accompanying emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support behavioral goals
• Conduct assessments and data analysis to monitor progress and adjust strategies
• Provide training and guidance to school staff on behavior management techniques
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and best practices in special education behavioral services

Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably in a K-12 school environment
• Proven ability to work effectively with students on the autism spectrum and those with emotional challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
